QC-CALC™ is a valuable process control tool that provides access to real-time data, and builds a database of process performance. Powerful statistical analysis tools enable the user to establish and maintain control over the process. Extensive analysis can be performed using QC-CALC™, including real-time numeric data collection, plus full off-line statistical analysis of recorded data.
Tools include X-bar charts for selected parameters; individual, median, moving average and range charts; process capability charts; correlation and regression; histogram analysis; Pareto analysis and probability plots. By using QC-CALC™ to continuously monitor important process characteristics, process variations can be identified and eliminated. QC-CALC™ empowers the user to isolate the root of assignable cause variations and establish statistical control over the process, thus minimising the need for final inspection.
For manufacturing monitoring, DEK screen printers can be set to measure at a pre-determined rate with the SPC parameters output to real-time display or to a hard disk for off-line analysis: this allows the user to isolate faulty processes or materials.
QC-CALC™ monitors pre and post print alignment in x, y and theta; board stretch highlighted by spacing differences between board fiducials and stencil fiducials; alignment system performance data; motor diagnostic information; deviation from the set point in front and rear squeegee pressure, print carriage speed, separation speed and temperature & humidity. DEK screen printers generate all nominals, tolerances and control limits automatically. These in turn create the database in the software package without the need for operator intervention.
