Offline Editor
Introducing the most powerful productivity enhancing tool currently available – the Offline Editor (OLE) from DEK. The ability to rapidly compile and optimise machine programs off-line is extremely important in high-mix manufacturing situations. OLE allows you to set-up, edit and access machine programs from the desktop.
DEK’s Offline Editor will maximise the productive time of your printing machines and minimise avoidable stoppages. It enables faultless generation of complete machine programs, off-line.
Powerful new features draw on DEK’s vision technology to include description of synthetic fiducials, for consistent and rapid board alignment. Quick and accurate set-up of tooling such as Autoflex® or Fine Pitch Autoflex is accomplished directly from the board Gerber data or a stored digital image.Intuitive housekeeping controls allow product files to be retrieved, edited and stored easily. OLE enables machine programs to be stored on the machine, on disk, or on a network.
The Offline Editor allows complete product files to be created and optimised from a remote PC, giving total control over board data, fiducial specification, tooling set-up, process parameters, alignment, screen data, cleaning and paste management. Tooling can be set up rapidly and accurately, using the advanced features included in OLE. Full control over tooling parameters is enhanced by the ability to superimpose a board image or Gerber file onto the tooling layout to ensure that tooling does not foul underside-mounted components. Windows bitmap files (.bmp) and Extended Gerber (RS-247X) files (.gbx) are supported, providing an accurate reference for confident control over tooling including manual, vacuum and Autoflex types.
The latest version of DEK’s Offline Editor is the most comprehensive and powerful offline editing tool ever made available to users of screen printing equipment.
