The mechanical precision of the Horizon platform is an impressive 12.5 microns in alignment accuracy, which is the foundation of the true Industry Gold Standard 6-Sigma accuracy metrics of the platform in real production applications.
Cycle time of 7 seconds
A core cycle time of just 7 seconds comes as standard with Horizon 01i. This defines the maximum line beat rate for downstream processing.
HTC fitted as standard
The High Throughput Conveyor is an advanced board handling system that drives one board into the print area while moving the printed board downstream, as a simultaneous operation. Typically reduces core cycle time by one second to improve throughput. In conjunction with the maximum Speed-Up Modules, enables core cycle time reduction to just 7 seconds.
HawkEye® 750 post-print verification
High speed post-print verification yield improvement tool designed to 100% verify critical parts of the printed board at the line beat rate. Also used for fiducial recognition and alignment.
DEK Instinctiv™ V9 user interface

Instinctiv V9 delivers a host of utilisation and productivity benefits including real time feedback, fast set-up, shorter time to first print, less operator training, and easier error avoidance and recovery.

Fast, light and robust internal bus-based communications system that replaces conventional wiring looms to deliver responsive and intelligent machine control.
Auto Stencil Load
Easy-to-use fully automatic loading of stencil frames into the Horizon platform that completely removes operator dependency. Drives the stencil into the system, dynamically searches for the stencil frame and precision-aligns it in X-Y position to ensure printer platform 6-Sigma accuracy is not compromised and will not impact yield.
Long Board Handling
Enlarges the active print area of the Horizon platform to accommodate boards or panels up to 610mm by 508mm.
Standard tooling table
The base tooling carrier ready to support optional dedicated custom tooling or the flexible automatic HD Grid-Lok® board support tooling system.
Fixed Chase
Horizon 01i features a Fixed Chase as standard, equipped to accept a limited number of regular frame sizes.
Full size stencil frame capacity
With a Fixed Chase as standard, the Horizon platform accepts stencils up to full industry standard size of 29 inches by 29 inches (736mm x 736mm) and is VectorGuard®-ready to further boost productivity with faster product changeover.
Standard board size capability
Accommodates boards or panels up to 508mm by 508mm in size.
Colour TFT touch screen, keyboard and trackball
A clean and clear touch-screen user interface running unambiguous Instinctiv™ V9 graphical software, complete with keyboard for data entry and trackball mouse for scrolling and selection.
